Imagine a safari where the bush is your pantry and the Kruger wilderness is the backdrop to every meal. This unique cooking experience at Singita Lebombo Lodge offers wildlife encounters and hands-on culinary moments. After a morning game drive tracking elephants, lions, and other iconic wildlife, guests spend a memorable afternoon in a kitchen overlooking the bush, cooking alongside African chefs.

The cooking class takes place at the Singita Community Culinary School, a program that trains aspiring chefs from neighbouring communities and allows guests to join a guided, interactive kitchen session. Here you might learn to prepare a traditional South African dish while supporting a project that develops professional culinary skills for local students.

Add in sunset safaris, guided walks, and personalised wine tastings from Singita’s renowned cellars, and the result is a safari that feeds both curiosity and appetite.
