Route 67 Art Trail is a public walking route in Gqeberha, set around the Donkin Reserve and leading through nearby city streets and viewpoints. It features a series of artworks that reflect the region’s cultural heritage and the life of Nelson Mandela.
Visitors can view sculptures, murals, historic buildings, and panoramic lookouts over the harbour. The area is easy to explore on foot at a relaxed pace, with most people spending one to two hours here. The best time to visit is during the morning or late afternoon when the light is ideal for photographs and the temperatures are comfortable.
There are cafés and restaurants within walking distance, and the route is generally child-friendly. Public bathrooms are available nearby at selected points. Most of the trail is wheelchair-accessible. Access is free and public parking is available around the Donkin Reserve.
The one must-see highlight is the large mosaic staircase leading up to the lighthouse.
