Explore the Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park is one of South Africa’s most famous wildlife reserves, located in the north-eastern provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Spanning nearly 20,000 km², it offers unparalleled opportunities to see Africa’s iconic wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino).

Visitors can explore the park on self-drive safaris, guided game drives, walking safaris, or even overnight bush stays at private lodges. The park also features scenic viewpoints, birdwatching, and hiking trails. The best time to visit is during the dry winter months (May to September), when animals are easier to spot around water sources.

Kruger offers a range of dining options at rest camps and lodges. It is child-friendly, with several family-oriented facilities. Bathrooms and safe parking are available at camps, and some areas are wheelchair-accessible. Entry requires a fee. The must-experience activity is a sunrise or sunset game drive. Many visitors combine Kruger with the Panorama Route, including Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window.
