The Bottelary Hills Conservancy is located on the outskirts of Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands. It includes farmlands, vineyards, and areas of Renosterveld, a rare type of vegetation. Visitors can explore mountain biking and hiking trails that pass through farms and natural areas. The trails vary in length and difficulty, making them suitable for different levels of riders and walkers. The Conservancy also offers guided walks and access to private nature areas on farms such as Mooiplaas and Koopmanskloof. The main purpose of the Bottelary Hills Conservancy is to protect and restore the remaining Renosterveld vegetation and other natural habitats in the Bottelary Hills area. Designated entry points:
